The recognition includes two PIPA finalist nominations and three REIQ finalist nominations, recognising Home Scouts as a business alongside founder and Sunshine Coast buyer’s agent Bronwen Stacey and Brisbane buyer’s agent Sandra Connors.
“Home Scouts is a small, Sunshine Coast-founded business, and we deliberately work with a small, select number of clients at a time so each one gets our full attention,” Bronwen Stacey says.
“To be named a finalist alongside much larger agencies, in both state and national awards, is genuinely a privilege, and it really reflects the trust our clients place in us.”
Home Scouts features as a finalist for the PIPA Business of the Year, Small award, while Bronwen Stacey has been named a finalist (amongst three) for the QPIA accredited – QPIA of the Year, Buyer’s Agent, Local award.

PIPA’s 2026 Awards for Excellence comprise 10 categories across business, individual and QPIA-accredited professionals, with finalists assessed by an independent panel against published criteria.
Notably, the QPIA local category recognises QPIA-accredited advisers working right in the heart of local markets where they live and work. The PIPA/QPIA award winners will be announced on October 15.
Home Scouts also received three finalist nominations in the 2026 REIQ Awards for Excellence, with the agency recognised alongside individual nominations for both Stacey and Connors.

The Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) Awards for Excellence recognise individuals and businesses across Queensland’s real estate profession, covering residential and commercial sales, property management, buyer’s agency, auctioneering, business broking, innovation and community contribution. The REIQ award winners will be announced on October 31.
Home Scouts earned consecutive finalist nominations for PIPA Business of the Year (Small) in 2024 and 2025. During that time, Stacey was also recognised as a finalist for QPIA of the Year – Buyer’s Agent (Local) and QPIA Graduate of the Year.
This year’s results continue that run, with Home Scouts returning as a Business of the Year, Small finalist and Stacey again recognised in the local buyer’s agent category.
“To be recognised for a third year running means a great deal to us. We are incredibly grateful to our clients, industry colleagues and referral partners, whose trust in Home Scouts has allowed us to keep doing the work we care about and continually improve the way we support buyers,” Stacey says.

The agency is accredited by both PIPA and the Real Estate Buyers Agents Association of Australia (REBAA), while Stacey is a Qualified Property Investment Adviser and serves on REBAA’s national Executive Committee.
