Ali lived in Melbourne and had for many years wanted to make a permanent move to the Sunshine Coast.

Not being local to the coast, and during the COVID period with lockdowns in Melbourne, she needed local expertise and support to help her identify the best area to move to, and make the relocation easy.

Ali was recommended by a previous client to Home Scouts, and engaged us for the full buyers agency services to help her make her home purchase and relocation.

She wanted to be close to the beach, in a property which didn’t require work and had a pool.

Approach

We worked with Ali to develop a clear property brief, outlining in detail her ‘must haves’ and like to haves’ on her ideal home and suburb.

Their priority was to be close to the beach, a renovated property with a pool. The property needed to be in a central location, close to the airport and Maroochydore CBD for her work commitments.

We shortlisted alternate suburbs that best suited her brief and budget, identified properties that fit their requirements and undertook video walkthrough inspections of each property with analysis on each.

After searching for 2 months an ideal property was shortlisted, and we undertook detailed due diligence as well as a pricing strategy. This property was secured via a competitive auction, within $500 of the previous bid.

Post-auction and purchase, we supported Ali from a local perspective as she transitioned from Victoria to the Sunshine Coast.

Location

Buddina is a beachside suburb which is centrally located within the Kawana Waters local area. The suburb has the perfect combination of beautiful beaches, laid back style, and proximity to Mooloolaba and Maroochydore. It is currently undergoing significant gentrification, with older single storey original brick homes being replaced by modern designed homes and duplexes.
