N and C were based in Melbourne but would spend holidays on the Sunshine Coast with their family.

They wanted to purchase a unit for their eventual retirement. They were seeking a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, with views of the ocean. The apartment needed to be low maintenance.

As they were based in Melbourne, not being on the ground meant that needed local advice and on the ground support.

Our clients had shortlisted two properties they were interested in and previously inspected.

I inspected their preferred property, and undertook site and pricing due diligence on that shortlisted property.

I then negotiated the price and terms on their behalf.

The agent had just reduced the advertised price by $150K which drew significantly more interest by qualified buyers, so we mobilised quickly to secure the property at a competitive price before a multiple offer situation was created.

It is an ideal area for both permanent residents and holiday home seekers, with a strong potential for capital appreciation thanks to consistent demand and limited available properties.

In Feb this year, my partner and I decided we would like to purchase a property in the Noosa region. Living in Melbourne it was always going to be difficult to find the right property ourselves.
