Buyer Brief

Lachlan was a Noosa-based, Fly-In, Fly-Out professional who looking to purchase a home to live in, which would also serve as a good investment.

After searching for his ideal property without success for many months amidst his remote working commitments, he was getting frustrated with the process. In addition, he wasn’t confident in the best location to buy in from an investment perspective.

He was after a home, with renovation potential, on at least 700m2+, which would enable him to live in the property as well as add value to it over time.

He was referred to Home Scouts (subcontracted to Providence Property) for the full buyers agency service to manage the search and acquisition of his property.

Our Approach

As a first step, we worked closely with Lachlan to define his brief, as well as inspected initial properties he had identified as of interest.

We assessed those properties he had identified, but discounted them after undertaking due diligence on those properties which alerted us to easements, bushfire and flooding risks.

The perfect alternate property was identified, and our negotiation skills and relationships with key agents enabled us to secure the property for our client for under $870,000.

Location

Tewantin is a suburb in Noosa shire, and within 10 minutes’ drive from Noosa Main Beach. In the past it has been considered a sleepy older suburb and it was the original settlement in the Noosa region. As one of Noosa’s three major centres today, it has become a highly popular suburb for families due to its affordable home prices, great schools and amenities, riverside position, and great proximity to all that Noosa and the northern Sunshine Coast has to offer.
