Cecile and Brittany, mother and daughter, were based in Geelong but would rent a holiday unit a few weeks each year in Coolum to enjoy the warmer weather particularly over winter.

After doing this annually for many years, an opportunity arose for them to consider investing in a holiday unit of their own. They wanted a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment close to the beach and shops, as well as a pool area in the complex.

The challenge of navigating this sort of purchase from a distance, particularly with the relatively high level of demand for these sort of units, meant that they needed local advice and on the ground support.

We attended the first possible inspection, and after doing thorough due diligence and detailed pricing analysis, we mobilised swiftly to secure the property at a competitive price for our clients before other buyers could mobilise during the weekend inspections.

Post-contract, we also assisted with identifying a holiday furniture stylist to furnish the property. We also co-ordinated competitive quotes from holiday rental companies to manage the property.
