Bernadette and Scott were Sydney-based executives who had a long term plan to make a permanent move to the Sunshine Coast. They had been looking remotely at properties for a long term, and decided to actively pursue a Sunshine Coast property during the COVID lockdown period.
They wanted a ‘beach shack with character’ on a flat block, walking distance to the beach and shops / cafes / restaurants. Their work commitments. combined with the lockdown period of no travel, meant the they needed local property expertise and on-the-ground support to help them get to properties quickly and secure their ideal property.

Approach
We searched across various target suburbs that they were particularly interested in, from Moffat Beach to Peregian Beach.
In particular our work included identifying on-market, off-market and pre-market properties which met the brief, undertaking video property inspections, as well as pricing and negotiation strategy.
The search took months to find the right property, within their budget and with all the key features they were looking for.
We finally found the perfect property and secured it via a highly competitive auction.
Post contract, we also assisted with co-ordinating competitive property management fees and immediate tenants for the rental of this property until the owners could complete their move from Sydney.
